“ Sandwiches where good and HUGE easily 2-3 meals and wish that had been made more clear when we ordered. Nothing mind mowing but all fresh and good quality ingredients. Meat and cheese cut fresh and prepped quickly. If you co wider a sandwich is enough for 2-3 meals... it's a good value as well. ”
“ While scouring Yelp looking for lunch while shopping at Macy's we agreed to go to Pisillo. I had the L'aquila and my wife had the Capri. My wife claimed it was one of the best sandwiches she ever had. For me it was the best sandwich I ever had. And I am 69. If you want a good sandwich go elsewhere. If you want the best sandwich, there is no better place than Pisillo's. We brought leftovers for lunch the next day but could not wait so had them for breakfast. ”
“ Walk in/take out place for a great authentic Italian sandwich. Had the porchetta special and it was a treat. No frills, just good food. One sandwich can feed three. ”
“ A true hidden gem authentic Italian sub shop. Skip Al Antico Viano and go here to get a classic Roma Panini on the sesame roll. These sandwiches are HUGE and inexpensive as well ”
“ My son treated us to these sandwiches last week! He brought them home from the Times Square location. They were no doubt some of the best sandwiches we have tried. Fantastic! The tuna, the prosciutto , the chicken all were terrific! Def recommend ! ”
“ After having lunch at the financial district Pisillo's, we decided we would get our dinner at the Midtown one. We ordered two sandwiches to go, and they were made quick and looked exactly like what we had for lunch. This store is about the same size inside and the decor is exactly the same. I liked that the articles on the walls were the same too. The store takes credit card and cash, so that was nice but we used cash again. Sandwiches were made in minutes. Ate half on the train home and I will be dreaming about this seeded bread for weeks! Definitely a must when visiting the city. ”
“ Really great sandwiches, extremely high price point. The worker was super helpful with answering our questions. For two sandwiches and a small tip, it was almost $50. The sandwiches were large but I would rather have a smaller sandwich that I can finish in one sitting for a better price point. Because after saving it for later, it was a little soggy and not great for leftovers. ”
“ this is a solid sandwich - did it change my life? no. but it cured the craving so four stars it is the food: i got the spiciest sandwich they had, #18 i believe. they PACK it in with hot peppers and it's so good - my only thing is i dont love the bread they use. not that fresh and just sitting out. the service: super quick and friendly the vibe: it's fine, super casual quick to go spot ”
“ Great sandwich spot! Located in a little shop on 38th off 6th Ave. it gets busy so def recommend getting there before lunch time (12pm) so avoid a long wait. I came at 1250pm on a Thursday. The guy at the counter promised me a sandwich made in two mins. I was paid and out of the door by 12:53pm! Large portions! One sandwich can feed you and others well. Fresh product's and tasty sandwiches. A lot of these types of sandwich spots only take card but Pisillo takes credit card! Super helpful. ”
